November 13, 1928 –  November 22, 2010  GAINESVILLE- Funeral Services for Glenna Fay (McGuire) Bailey, 82, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Doyle Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. until 8 P.M. Friday, November 26, 2010 at the funeral home. Mrs. Bailey passed away on Monday, November 22, 2010 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville.
Glenna was born on November 13, 1928 in Hagerman, Texas to Glen and Bertha (Tomlinson) McGuire. She married Billy Ray Bailey on June 1, 1947 in Sherman, Texas. Glenna was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro and enjoyed quilting and traveling.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Barbara Bailey of Altus, Oklahoma, Sally Ferris and husband Sam of Littleton, Colorado and Tricia Gonzales and husband Dean of Altus, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Chris Dobbs, Leigh-Ann Riley, Ashleigh Perez, Stefanie Riley and Justin Ferris and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step mother, Ruby Stuckey and a sister, Jean Smith.
Pallbearers are; Justin Ferris, Sam Ferris, Dean Gonzales, Mike Perez and Mike Pack.
