November 18, 1941 –  April 10, 2016  Glenn Irving Walters, 74, of Southlake, Texas, passed away at his lake home Sunday, April 10, 2016. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, Texas. A Celebration of Life Service will be held April 23, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Residence Inn Marriott Hotel, 2501 Bass Pro Dr., Grapevine, Texas.
He was born to Howard and Ethel (Robison) Walters in New Iberia, Louisiana, on November 18, 1941. He married Nancy Jean (DuBose) in 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a retired owner of Home Exteriors, Inc. He is survived by daughters, Kristi Scharrenberg and husband, Kurt of Crystal Lake, Illinois and Dawne Hunter of Roanoke, Texas; grandchildren, Katy, Kristiana, Kurt B. Scharrenberg, III, and Klaire Scharrenberg, Bria Martin and Austin Hunter, and great-granddaughter, Maddie Scharrenberg; brother, Dee Walters and sister, Kay Steele. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Ethel Walters and his wife, Nancy Jean Walters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association National Office, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
