Rest well my sweet friend, you are finally home with all those you love. Save us all a place at the table as we get called home. I’ll bring the donuts and coffee! I am going to miss so much all of our wonderful talks and those mornings when you would come by for the donuts and coffee. I love you my friend. Laura
Will really miss Glenn. He is an incredible uncle and person and wishing his family the best. Growing up I enjoyed our trips to Texas to meet with family and especially Glenn as he always had great advice and was very fun to talk too. Even after moving out of state I enjoyed coming to Texas to visit with him. I recall once we were all watching football during Thanksgiving as we always did and Nana and aunts were washing dishes after the thanksgiving meal as they always did. Glenn had all the guys including myself, Bebo, Jeffrey, Chris and others get up from watching the game and take over the dish washing so they could relax. And of course we all did it. He was that kind of person.
Rest in peace my friend. You were a great classmate and friend to me. Helen West
Glenn was an outstanding individual that I had the priviledge to know most of my life. We grew up within a few blocks of each other and went to all the same Gainesville schools. We graduated from GHS in 1960 and continued as friends in college. He was a very kind person who was not ashamed of his Lord and Savior Jesus. He will be missed. May God be with the family in the hard days to come.
Glenn was a first rate person. I am privileged to have gone to high school with him, to have had him as a friend, and to have been taught by his mother who formed him. He has suffered much but now is reunited with his beloved wife. May he rest in peace.
Rest in peace my friend.
Like Pat I too went to school with Glenn 12 years and graduated with him in 1960. His mom was a good teacher and worked hard for her boys. He and Jimmy always made her so proud.
I know it was an amazing turnout to welcome you home. You will be missed dear friend.
So glad to have had you as my friend and Sunday School classmate where we shared our deep love for Jesus Christ. I always got a giggle when you wore you cool funky socks to class, and will miss you so much. However, you were ready, prepared, and anxious to meet Jesus Christ face to face, and that is where we all desire to travel. I will cherish our 42 playing memories, and our classes together. Love ya, Kathy
Just knew Glen for a short while. We met him as a neighbor on Byrom Ct. We loved to talk and hear the stories of his life. We will miss seeing and talking to him.
