SHERMAN ? Funeral services for Glenda Haynes, 67, will be held Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at 2:00 p.m., in the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Bill Mayes and Mike Bentley officiating. Interment will follow the services at Oakwood Cemetery. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday, November 26, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

She passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013, in Sherman, Texas.

Glenda was born October 8, 1946 to Johnnie M. and Nola Modell (Herring) Dunnam in Knox City, Texas. She married Harry Haynes on December 31, 1965 in Whitesboro, Texas. She was a member of the North Union Street Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her family. She truly enjoyed the holiday season.

She is survived by her husband, Harry Haynes of Sherman; daughter, Michelle Haynes of Sherman; daughter, Heather Hale and husband, Nathan, of Gunter; two grandchildren: Avery and Blake Hale; brother, Bill Dunnam and wife, Ann, of Whitesboro; sister, Sylvia Goodman and husband, Robert, of Collinsville; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johnnie and Modell Dunnam; and her sister, Nelda Achimon.

The pallbearers will be Wayne Achimon, Darrell Achimon, James Cowger, Donnie Watson, Jeff Goodman, and Russell Roberts.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the North Union Street Church of Christ in Whitesboro, Texas.
