February 11, 1954 – June 12, 2014 Georgia Pruitt, 60, of Gainesville, Texas passed away June 12, 2014 at her home comfortably surrounded by loved ones and friends. She is survived by her husband, Monty Pruitt, who was her love for twenty years; four children, Jason Lenamond of Hutchins, Brandi Dodd of Gainesville, Laura Boyd of Lawton, Oklahoma and Tyler Pruitt of Arlington; three grandchildren she deeply cherished, Katelynn Lenamond of Hutchins, Rylee Dodd-Lokker of Gainesville and Kinsley Boyd of Lawton, Oklahoma; a sister, Ruby Orman of Red Oak and two brothers, George M. Harrison, Jr. of Arlington and Charles Harrison of Fort Worth. She will be missed dearly and will live on in the hearts of her many friends, co-workers and Friday night ladies group as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.Georgia was born in Dallas, Texas February 11, 1954, the daughter of the late George Milton and Ruby Jane (Smith) Harrison. She was employed by Select Energy and was passionate about her job and friends at work. Georgia was a also a hard worker at home, working in the garden and doing yard work, but above all, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren . She never met a stranger and was the life of the party, bringing joy to her family and friends.
Funeral Services for Georgia Pruitt will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 16th at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home with Rev. Travis Flanagan, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. John Pellizzari, Herkey Biffle, Kevin McCasland, Mike Boyd, Tim Pruitt and David Pruitt will serve at pallbearers. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
