Genevieve Margaret Redman, 92 of Gainesville, Texas passed away on May 12, 2023. She was born on June 9, 1930, in Short Hills, New Jersey to Donald Wangler and Margaret (Peters) Wangler. Genevieve married Donald Cooper Redman on April 21, 1952, in Plainfield, New Jersey. She attended Milburn High School in New Jersey also. Genevieve was a member of the Questers Historical Society, Tom’s River Yacht Club and enjoyed playing tennis, golfing, sailing and bridge.
Genevieve is survived by daughter, Faith Redman of Whitesboro, Texas; son, Mark Redman of Beachwood, New Jersey; granddaughters, Genevieve Redman of Colorado, Margaret Redman of New Jersey and Sarah Jazwinski of New Jersey.
Preceded in death by son, Matthew Craig Redman; husband, Donald Cooper Redman; mother, Margaret Wangler; father, Donald Wangler.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Gainesville. At this time no services are scheduled
Grandma touched our lives and we were all so lucky to have her in our life. She was always there when we needed her growing up, and we spent many days crabbing, and playing in island heights. I will forever cherish the memories and carry her with me in my heart. May she rest in peace.
