Whitesboro – Graveside services for Freddie Jean Parish, 83, of Whitesboro, Texas will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 3:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Cumby, Texas, officiated by Rev. Mike Flanagan. No formal visitation is scheduled. All services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.Jean passed away from this life and into the arms of her Lord on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Just Like Home in Whitesboro.

She was born on November 16, 1934 in Cumby, Texas to Alvin and Beulah Mae Moseley. She married Billy Ray Parish on January 2, 1955 in Cumby, Texas and together they raised three children. Jean was a member of the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro, where she volunteered her time and love for the Lord. Her greatest passion in life was her family, her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Short of Whitesboro, son, Brian Parish and wife, Jane of Whitesboro, son, David Parish and wife, Wendy of Kona, HI, grandson, Matthew Parish and wife, Megan of Tioga, grandson, Michael Parish and wife, Amber of Whitesboro, grandson, Mitchel Parish of Denver, CO, grandson, Conner Short of Colleyville, four great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Just Like Home and Heart to Heart Hospice for their love and care of Jean.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Beulah Moseley, husband, Billy Ray Parish, brother, Johnny Moseley and brother, Mike Moseley.
