March 17, 1945 –  January 4, 2013  GORDONVILLE ? Franklin Virgil Lusk, 67, passed away January 4, 2013, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. There will be no public services. He was born on March 17, 1945 to Henry Benton and Julia (Schier) Lusk in Springer, New Mexico. He was retired from the U. S. Army after almost 30 years of service. He was a Chief Warrant Officer. He was a member of the local VFW and the NRA.He is survived by his son, Benton Shane Lusk and his wife, Christine, of Virginia; step-children: Robert Sofge, Richard Sofge, Kim Sofge, April Butterfield, and Tammy Scarborough; 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; brothers, Jim Lusk and Lewis Benton Lusk; sisters, Mary Jean Balzano and Peggy Jo Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Deanna Lusk; his parents, Benton and Julia Lusk; and brother, Robert Lusk.
