Whitesboro – Memorial services for Franklin D. Bennett, 77, of Whitesboro will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Collinsville with the Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. At this time no visitation is scheduled.Frank passed away at his home in Whitesboro on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 with his loving family by his side.
He was born on May 4, 1941 in Aylesworth, Oklahoma to Edwin and Dorothy (Rice) Bennett. He married his high school sweetheart, Carol Rutherford, on September 2, 1960 In Oakland, OK and begin a beautiful marriage of 58 years. Frank retired from General Motors Parts Division after 32 years of service. He was a loving Christian man who was very involved and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Frank had a passion for vintage cars and old western movies, he loved watching any and all kinds of car racing. He left this world with kind, compassionate and simple words, “Thank you.”
Frank is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carol Bennett of Whitesboro, daughter, Kelly Bennett Cade, husband, Tracey and children, Tyler, Chace and wife, Ashley and Cassidy Cade of Crossroads , son, Tim Bennett, wife, Lara and children Cole, Taylor and Maci Bennett of Whitesboro, one great-grandchild, Dexter Cade, two special bonus grandchildren, Lily and Wylie Mask, brother, Donald Bennett, sister, Gail Clark as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Dorothy Bennett, brother, Ken Bennett, sister, Pat Roundtree and sister, Jo Bamberg. http://videos.lifetributes.com/940362
