Frank D. Harber, 89, of Whitesboro, Texas was called to his heavenly home on Monday, April 3, 2023.

Frank was born in St. Charles, Virginia to Jerry and Cornie (Cottrel) Harber.  He married Malda Ruth Baker on July 22, 1955 in Hearne, Texas.  Frank served proudly in the United States Air Force working as an aircraft mechanic.   He worked for Brazos Electric Power Co-op as a lineman for 36 years before retiring.  Frank was a member of First Baptist Church of Whitesboro.  He enjoyed working in his yard and gardens and just being outside.  Frank loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruth Harber of Whitesboro; daughter, Kay Glascock and husband, Russell of Valley View; daughter, Kim Talbert and husband, Allen of West Lafayette, Indiana; grandchildren, Sarah Glascock, Curtis Glascock and wife, Amber, Franklin Talbert, and Brian Talbert, great-grandchildren, Audrey Ratliff, Kendra Ratliff, Brock Glascock, and Shaelyn Glascock, sister, Jerelene Harber, nephews, Mark Pennington and Ricky Joe Harber, as well as other loving family, friends, nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Cornie Harber, brothers, Jerry Harber Jr., Harold Harber, Harry Harber, R.J. Harber, twin brother, Victor Harber, Ray Harber, and Bob Harber, sisters, Kathleen Harber, Lorene Monger, and Ada Osborne.

Pallbearers will be Allen Talbert, Russell Glascock, Franklin Talbert, Curtis Glascock, Randy Glascock, Hank Lovejoy, Jackie Mitchell and Monty Gilbreath.

Funeral services honoring Frank will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 6, 2023 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Mike Flanagan.  Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro.  A time of visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
