November 27, 1920 –  August 19, 2015  Funeral Services for Frances A. Hargesheimer, 94, will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro is in charge of arrangements. She died Wednesday, August 19, 2015 in Sherman, Texas with her family by her side. She was born to James Arthur and Mary (Derryberry) Beane on November 27, 1920 in Dexter, Texas. She married Leon Hargesheimer on June 19, 1943, in Sherman, Texas. She was a member of Bones Chapel Baptist Church. Frances loved animals, needlepoint, cross-stitch, was a collector of dolls, and loved to cook. She loved her family. Everyone knew her as Aunt Frances.
She is survived by sister-in-laws; Louise Bellows and husband, James and Doris Hargesheimer of Callisburg; nieces, Sharon DuBose and husband, Glenn of Whitesboro, Donna Smith and husband, Danny of Watauga, Liz Gibson and husband, Hoot of Whitesboro, Suzanne Greear and husband, Johnny of Whitesboro, Kathy Bauer and husband, Dale of Gainesville, Darla Barr and husband, Thomas of Callisburg, Jana Colteryahn and husband, Keith of Callisburg and Cindy Banister; nephews, Jerry Turner of Grand Prairie, Dennis Beane and wife, Sherri Beane from Gainesville, Butch Beane and wife, Theresa from Gainesville, Joe Beane and wife, Jackie of Gainesville, Florida, Don Hargesheimer of Callisburg, Bob Hargesheimer, and wife, Betty of Whitesboro; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Beane; husband, Leon Hargesheimer and brothers and sisters, Alma Neal Wallis, Elton Beane, Elsie Beane, Zelma McCarter, Floy Stevens, Lillian Beane, Ireta Morrow, Cecil Mae Beane, Jim Beane, Wayne Beane, Billy Gene Beane and Mary Jo Turner. http://videos.lifetributes.com/623150
