September 18, 1924 –  December 17, 2013  Funeral Services for Ethel M. McLeaster is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 20th at Meador-Clement-Keel Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Black officiating. Interment will follow at Reed Cemetery in Myra. Mrs. McLeaster passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at Doctors Health Care and Rehab Center in Dallas at the age of eighty-nine.
Ethel was born September 18, 1924 in Myra, Texas, the daughter of Tom and Lula (Kidd) Watson. She worked for eighteen years as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Gainesville Memorial Hospital before moving to Dallas. Ethel was a member of Central Baptist Church for many years.

Survivors of Ethel McLeaster include her son, Charles McLeaster of Dallas; grandson, Charles Michael McLeaster of Dallas; daughter-in-law, Ella Lindille of Dallas; five great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carlos McLeaster; granddaughter, Michelle Phillips and brother, Bobby Watson.
