November 11, 1933 –  May 11, 2013  SADLER ? Funeral services for Erma Ray Reeves, 79, will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Faith Baptist Church in Gordonville, Texas with Rev. Jim Hardwick and Rev. Jerry Henry officiating. Interment will follow the service at Gordonville Cemetery. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Visitation services will be held Tuesday, May 14, from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. at the Faith Baptist Church in Gordonville, Texas.She passed away on May 11, 2013 at her residence in Sadler, Texas.
Erma was born on November 11, 1933 in Pampa, Texas to Joseph and Wanda (Pruitt) Winborne. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Gordonville, Texas. She worked as a nurse?s aide at Hilltop Haven in Gunter, Texas for many years. She was a homemaker and a mother. She loved children and babysat a lot. She was always volunteering in the church nursery.
She is survived by sons: Mike Reeves, John Reeves and Dan Reeves all of Sadler, TX; daughters: Jane Simmons of Bailey, TX; Barbara Holcomb of Sadler, TX; and Wanda Jacobs of Denison, TX; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and her siblings: June, Johnny, Bob, Beth and Chuck.
She was preceded in death by husband, Clarence Reeves; parents, Joseph and Wanda Winborne; sons: Clay Reeves and Clarence Ray Reeves; brothers: Joe Winborne and James Winborne; and grandsons: John Renner and Justin May.
The pallbearers will be Michael Reeves, Christopher Reeves, Joseph West, Shane Mauldin, Jonathan Reeves, Brian Reeves, Jacob Reeves and Chris Cox.
