June 26, 1929 –  July 19, 2016  SADLER – Funeral Services for Ele Cleabern Neasbitt, 87, of Sadler will be held Saturday, July 23, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Carney and Rev. David Woolsey officiating. Interment will follow at Sadler Cemetery. He passed away at the Homestead Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Collinsville, July 19, 2016.
He was born to David Price and Edith (Kitchens) Neasbitt on June 26, 1929, at Red Branch, Texas. He married Betty (Bennett) Neasbitt on June 8, 1956, in Sadler, Texas. He served as a Deacon in the Baptist Church in Sadler for 53 years. He and Betty adopted two sons in 1968. He had worked for the Soil Conservation Service, served in the U.S. Air Force and served several years on the S&S School Board. Ele raised cattle on his farm and had Sadler Farm Enterprise, building fences and trailers and baling hay. He loved his wife and his boys.
He is survived by his son, Noel Neasbitt of Sadler and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Edith Neasbitt; wife, Betty Neasbitt and son, Mark Neasbitt and 10 siblings.
