October 20, 1957 –  July 29, 2014  Memorial services for Elaine MaryAnn Chavez, 56, will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Whitesboro, Texas with Father Jeremy Myers officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, August 1, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel. Ms. Chavez died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro is in charge of arrangements.Ms. Chavez was born to Gavino and Sarah Rivera Montoya in Embudo, New Mexico on October 20, 1957. She was a loving mother, grandmother and loved to watch her grandchildren play sports. She was a member of St. Francis Assisi Church of Whitesboro, Texas.
She is survived by her children, sons: Jamie Montoya and Valorie Villalpando of Monte Vista, Colorado, Eric and Candice Montoya of Keller, Texas; David Chavez of Melissa, Texas and Carlos Montoya of Whitesboro, Texas; daughters, Jessica Morales of Dallas, Texas; Vanessa and Brandon Stanley of Collinsville, Texas and all her loving grandchildren; brother, Harry Lozoya and sisters, Sharon Lujan, Barbara Montoya, Christine Pinon, Renee Cervantez, Francine Lozoya and Blanca Lozoya.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gavino and Sarah Montoya and a brother, Frankie Montoya.
