Duwayna Atteberry (63) of Denton, TX, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Senior Care Health and Rehabilitation Center in Denton. She was born September 30, 1953 to James W. Atteberry and Betty (Pope) Atteberry in Gainesville. She attended the Full Gospel Church of Denton and was a Christian. She loved everyone and was loved by all.

Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 15th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Jack Howard officiating. A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 14th at Meador Funeral Home.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Louise Atteberry of Denton (formerly of Gainesville); sister and brother in law, Suzann & Eddie Graves of Denton; half sister and brother in law, Yvonne & David Rill of Denton; 2 aunts, Anelle Pope and Elizabeth Atteberry and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, James W. Atteberry and 3 uncles, Raymond Pope, Charles Pope and Jessie Atteberry.
