March 24, 1934 –  June 7, 2010  SHERMAN – Graveside services for Dovie Marie Gibbs, 76, will be held at 9 a.m. on Wed., June 9, 2010 at Macomb Cemetery with Rev. John Reynolds officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro.She passed away on Monday, June 7, 2010 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center in Sherman.
She was born on Mar. 24, 1934 in Paris, Texas to Marvin Stewart and Emma Aaron Stewart.
Survivors include 2 sons, B. J. Tidwell of Whitesboro and Charles Gibbs of Round Rock; 2 daughters, Donna Barton of Whitesboro and Penny Talley of Sherman; a brother, Jerry Stewart of Kansas; 3 sisters, Joyce Williams of Whitesboro, Christine Brookshear of Whitesboro, and Cricket Howard of Whitesboro; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Clarence Edward Gibbs.
