May 1, 1931 –  February 2, 2011  Dorothy Sue Paschal, age 79 of Gordonville, passed away February 2, 2010 after a brief illness. The only daughter of Charles Granderson Little and Gelena Kerr Little, she was born in Wellington, Texas on May 1, 1931. Sue held fond memories of being a child on the family farm located in the Cottowood community of Collingsworth County. She graduated from Quail High School with the class of 1948.
On February 25, 1950 she married Preston Paschal in Clovis, New Mexico. They made their home in Carrolton, Texas. In later years Sue was an employee of the Frito-Lay Company where she enjoyed a fourteen year career, retiring in 1975. In 1981 she and her husband moved to the Texas panhandle once again, where they built their home near Amarillo. In 1987 they once again left the panhandle to travel in their motor home. For the next seventeen years they traveled points of interest over most of the United States. In 2004 she and her husband returned to the Lake Texoma area where they had made their home at the time of her death.
Sue was preceded in death by both parents and brothers Charles Granderson Little, Jr., Richard Earl Little, James Douglas Little and Michael Eugene Little.
Survivors include her spouse Preston M. Paschal of the home and three sisters-in-law which include Alice Paschal and Mildred Little of Amarillo, Texas and Martha Little of Shamrock, Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Services are to be held Saturday, February 6, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at the Gordonville Church of Christ with Gene Deckard and Larry Jones, minister officiating. Burial will be in Wellington, Texas at a later date.
