Dorothy “Dot” Jeanette Lawson, 88, of Whitesboro, Texas was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, November 28, 2022.

Dorothy was born on November 2, 1934 in Smyrna, Georgia to Buck and Esther Jones.  She loved sports and played basketball throughout her high school years. She even won a beauty pageant during that time of her life.  She married Billy Reed Lawson on June 10, 1961 and they were married for 54 years prior to his passing in 2016.
