November 8, 1934 –  July 26, 2011  WHITESBORO- A Memorial Service for Donna (Reed) Walraven Cocks, 76, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, August 1, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Jack Wallace officiating. Service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. The family will have a private visitation at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cocks passed away at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital – WNJ in Sherman on July 26, 2011.

Donna was born on November 8, 1934 in Turon, Kansas to Rexter M. and Helen (Fischer) Reed. She married Robert Cocks on August 1, 1993 in Ogden, Utah. Donna was a graduate of Washburn University. She was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Donna was a sweet and caring person beyond what words can adequately express. As well as her love for family, she had a love for travel. She and her husband had travelled to 49 states by motor home, including Alaska. She was also a participant of the First United Methodist Church prayer group. Donna was always there for her friends and family, in times of need and in times of peace. Her support and friendship will be deeply missed.

Survivors include her husband; Jack Cocks of Whitesboro; 2 daughters, Tamra Kyle and husband, Pete of Whitesboro and Christy Leach and husband, John of England; grandchildren, Ryan Kyle and Reed Kyle of Whitesboro and Jessica and Ruth Leach of England; step-sons, John, Chris and Art Cocks and step-grandchildren; Austin, Karina, Matt and Alicia Cocks.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rexter and Helen Reed and a son, Matthew Walraven.
