January 4, 1945 –  January 25, 2013  GAINESVILLE- Funeral services for Don Ray Finch, 68, will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 31, 2013 at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gainesville, with Rev. Preston Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Gainesville. Services are under the direction of Meador -Clement-Keel Funeral Home of Gainesville. Family visitation will be from 7 until 8 P.M., Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the funeral home.
Mr. Finch passed away on January 25, 2013 at North Texas Medical Center in Gainesville.

Don Ray was born on January 4, 1945 in Gainesville, Texas to George and Essie A. (Jones) Finch. He graduated from Gainesville High School and worked for the Texas State Highway Department.

Survivors include a daughter, Willistine Hardin of Marlin, Texas; 2 sons, Robert Lee Hardin of Wichita Falls and Alfred Ray Hardin of Gainesville; a sister, Josephine Finch of Gainesville; 2 brothers, George Finch, Jr. of Marietta, OK and David Lee Finch of Brookline, MA; nephew, Bobby Anderson of Marietta, Ok; niece, Brenda Joyce Finch of Gainesville; nephew, Kerry Dale Finch of Seattle, WA; nephew, Roderick Finch of Houston; niece, Valerie Finch of Marietta, OK; great niece, Dinelle Finch of Gainesville and great nephew, Joseph Finch of Carrollton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Essie Finch; 2 brothers, Robert Finch and Leroy Finch; and 2 sisters, Ira Bell Felton and Lillie Frances Finch.
