August 7, 1985 –  July 14, 2005  Collinsville – Funeral Services for Dennis Wayne Runnels, age 19, will be 10 A.M. Monday, July 18, 2005 at First Baptist Church in Collinsville with Rev. Keith Byrom officiating. Interment will follow in Collinsville Cemetery directed by Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Sunday, July 17, 2005 at the funeral home.
Mr. Runnels passed away Thursday, July 14, 2005 near Collinsville.

Mr. Runnels was born August 7, 1985 in Sherman to Richard Runnels and Vanessa (Bilbrey) Runnels King. He was a 2004 graduate of Collinsville High School.

Mr. Runnels is survived by his parents, David and Vanessa King of Collinsville, grandparents, Norman and Connie Hancock of Pottsboro, great-grandmothers, Betty Harshbarger of Pottsboro and Lola White of Collinsville, sisters, Amanda Runnels and Alyson King of Collinsville, a brother, Garland King of Collinsville and an aunt, Melissa Bolden of Gainesville.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Runnels.

Pallbearers are Andy Duke, Michael Palmertree, Grant Beal, Blake Easley, Matt Jackson, Michael Johnson, Cody McClain and Matt Morris.

A memorial fund has been set up at Independent Bank, P.O. Box 770, Collinsville, TX 76233.
