February 27, 1937 –  June 3, 2015  Funeral services for Delores Sue McGuire, 78, of Whitesboro, Texas, will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Meador Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday at 10:00 am, 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Delores joined our Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital, Sherman, Texas. She was born to Edward and Susie (Bliss) Vines, February 27, 1937 in Erick, Oklahoma. Delores and Willis McGuire were married on March 11, 1953 in Erick, Oklahoma. She was a long time member of the Baptist Church in Erick, Oklahoma and was the perfect wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a Radiologist by trade, an avid reader, and loved to garden and watch and listen to the birds. Delores was a friend to many and was loved by all who knew her. She was a supporter and friend of the Whitesboro Public Library. Pallbearers will be family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elize and Susie Vines and sister, Geneva VanBuskirk.
She is survived by her husband, Willis; 2 daughters, Vanessa Dale McGuire of Lake Jackson, Texas; Patricia Kathleen Williams and husband, Paul of College Station, Texas; son, Aaron Ray McGuire and wife, Katrinia of Seabrook, Texas; 7 grandchildren; Jeremy Williams, Jake Williams, Adam Barnes, Cole McGuire, Sam McGuire, Misty Devine, and Justin Boyd; 10 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert Wardwell and Christopher Vines,and a sister, Nelda Taylor. http://videos.lifetributes.com/601958
