Delma Roberta Gruber, 80, of Lake Kiowa passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, at Presbyterian Hospital of Denton.  She was born on January 10, 1939 to William Arthur and Lola Gertrude (Carver) True in Hillsboro, Illinois. She married Ronald Lee Gruber September 23, 1957 in Tampa, Florida.  Delma was of the Lutheran faith and had been employed as a bookkeeper.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019, Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Bro. Hollis Parsons officiating.  Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to service time.  Interment will be at DFW National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 1:30 p.m.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Gruber of Lake Kiowa; son, Michael Gruber and wife, Tammy of Lewisville; daughter, Ronda Schneider and husband, Peter of Florida; grandchildren, Allison Strickland, Jennifer Schneider, Michael “Brad” Gruber, and Melissa Cole; step-grandchild, Stephanie Villegas; sisters, Sandy Hicks and Shirley Tyrolt and brother, William True.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gertrude True.
