December 8, 1956 –  April 18, 2015  WHITESBORO – Graveside services for David Jeffrey “Jeff” Patterson, 58, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Nelson Grove Cemetery in Gainesville, Texas with Rev. Rick Carney officiating. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Visitation services will be held on Tuesday evening, April 21, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.He died on April 18, 2015 in Whitesboro, Texas.
“Jeff” was born on December 8, 1956 in Sherman, Texas to Barnett J., Sr. and Helen (Senter) Patterson. He married Lou Ann Prestage on July 30, 1988 in Whitesboro, Texas. Jeff was employed by Fed Ex for twenty years. He liked to hunt. He enjoyed landscaping and gardening. He was good with children and loved his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Ann Patterson, of Whitesboro; son Terry Cason and wife, Shelly, of Thackerville, OK; son, Darrell Cason, and wife, Melody, of Whitesboro; daughter, Polly Anna Achorn, and husband, Travis, of Whitesboro; grandchildren: Paige, Logan, Zack, Cooper, Kilye, Delaney, and Barrett; sister, Sharron Gibbons, of Southmayd; sister, Beverly Savage, of South Lake; brother, Barnett J. “Pete” Patterson, Jr., of Sherman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barnett, Sr. and Helen Patterson; and his brother, Benny Patterson. http://videos.lifetributes.com/588872
