October 12, 1933 –  July 22, 2015  GAINESVILLE – Funeral Services for Coy M. Gilbreath, 81, will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Gainesville with Tyler Gullette and Steve Ledford officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.Coy passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on Oct. 12, 1933 in Cooke County, Texas to Barney and Juanita (Culp) Gilbreath. He married Theresa Mae Estes on May 4, 1956 in Gainesville. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was a carpenter by trade. He was a charter member of Grace Friendship Baptist Church. Coy was a loving, caring person.
Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Reynolds of Gainesville; 2 granddaughters, Heather Reynolds of Gainesville and Theresa Reynolds of Gainesville; 3 brothers, Barney Gilbreath of Woodbine, Clovis Gilbreath of Gainesville and George Gilbreath of Gainesville; a sister, Bonnie Harper of Thackerville, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Theresa Gilbreath; and a son, Michael Gilbreath.
Pallbearers will be Chathan Reynolds, Dewey Reynolds, Theresa Reynolds, Heather Reynolds, Steve Ledford and Ronnie Kniss.
