Ms. Davis passed away in Fargo, North Dakota on August 10, 2008.

Connie was born in Henderson County, Texas on November 17, 1959, to Charles V. and Trellis I (Fleming) Riddle. She lived in Texas most of her life up until the year 2000 when she moved to North Dakota. She loved Texas, the heat, the friendly people and the familiar Texas accent that people in North Dakota loved to hear her speak. But no matter how far she lived, she was a phone call away and it was the memories and closeness of our family that always kept us together.

As a young child she grew up with two sisters, Cathy Ann and Jackie, and one older brother, Mike. Later when her Dad remarried, there were two more sisters, Patsy and Kathy Jo.

Her sisters had a lot of fun in school when Connie would announce, this is my sister Cathy and my other sister, Kathy (who, by the way, is two months older than me). (With a maiden name of Riddle, this was surely a one.)

She married Jacky Davis in September 1985 in Gordonville, Texas. They had three handsome and energetic boys. Their happy little family was always on the go. Jack died when the boys were very young in 1993 when they were only 2, 4 and 6 years old.

Later, Connie met a man, Mark Hendrickson that she would later spend many years with- as the boys grew up. After several years together, they all moved to his home state of North Dakota where Connie and the boys continued to live. Mark passed away in 2005.

Connieâ??s last love of her life was Albert Getzke, whom she enjoyed the much needed showering of affection and companion. He always brought her flowers and told her what a special person she was. Her family was so glad to see him come into her life, but tragically, died last year. Connie and Albert were such a fun and happy couple.

She loved the outdoors, the sunshine, going to the lake and working in the yard. When ever you talked to her on the phone she would always say that she was outdoors, â??working on her tanâ?. She also had a good sense of humor. She said â??it was hard to get a tan in North Dakota, with 4 feet of snowâ?. She wanted to come back to Texas where you could drive by the corn fields and see it â??poppingâ? in the summer.

Connie was Pure at Heart. When she loved you, she always loved you, always cared for you- unconditionally. She knew the basic importance of life. In a recent birthday card sent to one of her sisters, she wrote: Sorry, but this birthday card is your present. I wish I could send more, but I LOVE YOU. And at our age that is good enough. â?¦When all is said and done in life it is the love that we have for one another that is important in life.

And more than anything in the world, she loved her boys- Jason now age 22, A.J age 20 and David age 18. They have always brought great joy to her life. They have always been the constant in her life. She was very proud of each of them. And she would be proud of them today and would want them to know how much she loves them and will continue to watch over them. She leaves them all of her heart and soul.

Connie is at peace, her body needs to rest. The memories in each of our hearts will forever remain affected by her presence on earth. We will always remember her smiling face and her kindness.
