Clarence Elvin “Cheech” Kittrell Jr., 69, passed away on September 12, 2021 in Gainesville, Texas.  He was born March 12, 1952 in Amarillo, Texas to Clarence E. Kittrell Sr and Alice (Smith) Kittrell.  He went onto join the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country as a Sergeant in Communications with the Corps.

Cheech worked for 23 years as a maintenance welder at Weber. He loved the outdoors, his guns and his Harley’s.  He was forever a family man deluxe, loved them dearly along with his friends and was always there to help everyone.

Cheech is survived by sons, Jeffery Simpson and wife, Cynthia of New Ulm, Texas; James Kittrell and wife Crystal of Columbus, Texas; Matthew Kittrell of Gainesville, Texas; daughters, Jennifer McNorton of Gainesville, Texas and LaDonna Glidewell of Sanger, Texas; brothers, Randy Kittrell of Runaway Bay, Texas; Jimmy Kittrell of Runaway Bay, Texas; Ralph Kittrell of Sunset, Texas; sister, Deborah Preece and husband, James of Eagle Lake, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Preceded in Death:  Daughter, Shawna Glidewell, parents and wife, Jean Kittrell, grandson, Jacob Welsh.
