Christopher Daniel Gaston, 49, of Collinsville, Texas was called to his eternal home on Monday, October 6, 2025.

Chris was born on September 2, 1976 in Wichita, Kansas to Wayne David Gaston and Marilyn Buckholt.  He attended schools in Emory and Greenville, Texas.  Chris enjoyed woodworking and working in construction.

He is survived by his father, David Gaston and wife, Diana of Emory; mother, Marilyn Buckholt of Collinsville; brother, David Gaston and wife, Jodie of Paris; sister, Morgan Young and husband, Chris of Royce City; and grandmother, Wanda Wilson of Emory, as well as his nieces and nephews.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Bailey Gaston Sr., Joyce Coke, great-grandparents, Frank and Deck Buckholt, and cousin, Bill Gaston.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
