July 7, 1921 –  April 1, 2005  Collinsville – Funeral Services for Chester G. Heath age 83, will be 10 A.M. Monday, April 4, 2005 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. Gerald Dudley and Rev. Jim Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. Heath passed away Friday, April 1, 2005 at Wilson N.Jones Medical Center North Campus in Sherman.

Mr. Heath was born July 7, 1921 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma to Allan and Bertie (Crownover) Heath. He married Cleta Todd on April 30, 1941 in San Perlita, Texas. He was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Navy, serving in the Seabees Construction Battalion, First Platoon, Company A. Mr. Heath was in road construction most of his life and retired from Crookhan & Vessels Construction in Sherman after 30 years of service. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife, Cleta Heath of Collinsville; a son, Richard G. Heath and wife Beverly of Grapevine; a granddaughter, Candace Keele and husband Randall of Corsicana; three great-grandchildren, Anthony, Chelsea and Randi Keele of Corsicana; two sisters, Mildred White of Decatur and Marie Malone of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and a brother, Monroe Heath of Lubbock.

Pallbearers are: James Todd, Heath Todd, Don Cox, Jerry Cannon, Rodney White and Aaron Hughes.
