Visitation services for Charles Lee Holmes, 53, will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012, from 3:00 ? 5:00 p.m. at the Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. He passed away at his residence on December 11, 2012.Charles was born on September 12, 1959, to Robert and Effie (Smith) Holmes in DeQueen, Arkansas. He was employed as a mechanic.
He is survived by his sons: Casey Holmes of Denison, TX; and Wade McBee of Denison, TX; one grandchild; brother, Bruce Holmes, of Idabel, OK; sister, Judy Cogburn of Sherman, TX; mother, Effie Shirey of Durant, OK; and father, Robert and Dixie Holmes of Pickens, OK; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Doug Holmes.
