September 26, 1950 –  February 24, 2013  A Memorial Service for Charles “Gene” Spann will be 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 18th at Legacy Church of Christ in North Richland Hills with Terry Heidecker officiating.

Gene 62, of Gainesville died February 24, 2013 at Wise Regional Hospital in Decatur. He was born September 26, 1950 in Crockett, Texas.

Survivors of Mr. Spann include his wife, Michelle Spann of Gainesville; sons, Chuck Spann of Gainesville, Justin Spann of Gainesville and Chase Spann of Gainesville; three grandchildren; mother, Edna Spann of Midlothian; brothers, Cecil Spann of Midlothian, Larry Spann of Dallas and Henry Spann of Boyd and sister, Linda Spann of Midlothian.
