August 15, 1935 –  February 2, 2017  Graveside Services for Charlece (Dyer) Roberts, 81, of Collinsville, Texas will be held Sunday, February 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Collinsville Cemetery with Rev. T. L. Thompson officiating. She passed away Thursday, February 2, 2017 at her home in Collinsville. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home, Whitesboro, Texas. There is no formal visitation scheduled. She was born to Charlie and Hallie (Dilbeck) Dyer on August 15, 1935 in Sulphur, Oklahoma. She married Chester Roberts August 30, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. They were the parents of three children, Mark, Russell and Gina. She was of the Baptist faith. Charlece loved horticulture and especially gardening. She also enjoyed sewing and was an avid reader. She had a passion and love of animals, especially dogs. She is survived by her husband, Chester Roberts of Collinsville; son, Russell Roberts and wife, Shannon of Collinsville; daughter, Gina Orsburn and husband, Bobby of Collinsville; 4 grandchildren, Craig Orsburn, and wife, Jessica, Chet Roberts and wife, Misty, Whitney Josey and husband, Greg and Rachel Lorenz and husband, Chad and 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, C.C. “Dude” and Hallie Dyer; son, Mark Roberts; sister and brother-in-law, Jo and Bill Grissom.
