June 26, 1955 –  July 20, 2009  WHITESBORO- Funeral services for Cassy Jo Beckett, 54, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 22nd at Western Heights Church of Christ, 800 Baker Park Dr., in Sherman, TX with Donald Ball officiating assisted by Richard Oglesby. Family and Friends visitation will be Tuesday, July 21, 2009 from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro, Texas. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman, Texas.
Cassy passed away on Monday, July 20, 2009 at her home in Whitesboro surrounded by the love of her family.

She was born on June 26, 1955 in Bedford, Indiana to Bernard and Shirley Williams. Cassy worked for the Whitesboro Elementary ISD for over 21 years. She was a faithful and active member at Western Heights Church of Christ. She had a special love for the elderly and the youth; she was a true servant to all she knew. Cassy had a trademark smile that instantly made you feel the love when you met her. She truly was an angel here on earth. Special thanks to the Western Heights Church of Christ and to the employees of the Whitesboro ISD for your long and loving support during CassyĆ¢??s illness.

She was preceded in death by her father Bernard Williams & sister Carrie Jean Williams.

Survivors include her mother Shirley Williams of Tucson, husband of 35 years Daniel Beckett of Whitesboro, brother Bruce Williams of Tuscon, brother Brad Williams and wife Terri of Canyon Lake, son Bow Beckett and wife Gwena of Van Alstyne, daughter, Emily Key and husband Dennis of Whitesboro, son Brandon Beckett of Killeen; 3 grandchildren Jayson and Hope Beckett, and Conner Key; 1 niece, 3 nephews, and of course, her dog Molly and lots of friends.
