November 1, 1968 –  August 27, 2011  DENISON – Carrie Ann May-Carney went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2011 at her residence.
Carrie was an LVN earning her nursing degree at Cooke County College. Carrie worked as an LVN in many nursing homes in the area. Carrie was born November 1, 1968 to Shirley Gaskins-May and Kenneth May in Sherman. She was a Baptist.

Among her survivors are her parents, sons: Matt May, Christopher May, and Josh McKee all of Whitesboro; brother, Brian May; grandmother, Mary Gaskins; aunts: Charlotte Foster and Joyce Jones both of Whitesboro: Darlene Gaskins of Sadler and Linda Jurecka of Collinsville; uncles: Randy Gaskins and Eddy Foster both of Whitesboro; and Jimmy Don May of Woodbine, Texas,

She was predeceased by her grandparents: Ed Gaskins, Ralph and Jeraline May; and cousin Kenny Gaskins.

Carrieâ??s wishes were to be cremated. No services are planned at this time.

Family and friends will gather from 6-7 p.m. at Joyce Jones home Tuesday, August 30, at 305 North Union St. in Whitesboro, Texas.
