June 23, 1928 –  February 12, 2011  Graveside services for C.L. â??Buddyâ? May will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 15th at Valley View Cemetery with Mr. Tim Stobaugh and Rev. Hubert Wright officiating. Services are under the direction of Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mr. May, 82, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Pecan Tree Health and Rehab Center. Buddy was born June 23, 1928 to Drew P. and Bernice Evans (Thacker) May. He was Cleburne High School graduate. Buddy married Margaret Louise Wilson October 5, 1949. C.L. was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad as a chief clerk before retirement and was a member of Custer City Baptist Church. He enjoyed training horses and mules and loved to dance.

C.L. â??Buddyâ? May is survived by his wife, Margaret May of Gainesville; son and daughter-in-law, Gene W. and Penny May of Callisburg; granddaughter, Shelby May of Callisburg; sister, Emma Lee Johnson of Covington; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Nancy thacker of Cleburne and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Drew and Bernice May and a sister, Violet Hamilton.
