June 18, 1984 –  August 9, 2016  WHITESBORO – Graveside services for Brant William Cogburn, 32, will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Collinsville at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, August 13, 2016 with Rev. Neill Morgan officiating. There will be no scheduled visitation. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro . Brant passed away on Tuesday, August 09, 2016 as the result of an accident while working.
Brant was born on June 18, 1984 in Sherman, Texas to Curtis and Tanja (Hampton) Cogburn. He married Ashley Harwell on June 23, 2010 in Grayson County, Texas. Brant was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Whitesboro and served as an Elder. He loved his church and working in the church. Brant owned and operated ABC Waste and Water Company. He enjoyed fishing and being involved with his family and loved his family greatly.
Survivors include his wife, Ashley Cogburn of Whitesboro; 5 children, Craig Cogburn, Wade Graves, Carly Cogburn, Emily Cogburn and Jack Cogburn; Parents, Curtis and Tanja Cogburn of Whitesboro; 2 sisters, Shauna Adegunwa and Gavin Cogburn; Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Susan Cogburn, Roy Hampton and Patsy Terry.
Pallbearers will be, Greg Ortega, Robb Thomas, Pat Clark and Ed Tomlin.
