December 4, 1954 –  December 22, 2011  WHITESBORO- Funeral services for Brant Krueger, 57, will be held at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church, 122 S. Union St., Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Ken Hildebrand officiating. Interment will be held at 3:00 P.M. Tuesday at Moore Memorial Gardens, 1219 N. Davis Drive, Arlington, Texas. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Visitation will be on Monday, December 26, 2011 from 6 – 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Brant passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at his home in Whitesboro.
Brant was born on December 4, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to Sid and Patsy (Easley) Krueger. He married Miki Aamodt on July 28, 1984 in Grand Prairie, Texas. He graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1973. He graduated from Southwest Texas State University in 1977 with honors, earning a degree in Political Science. In 1980, he graduated from South Texas College of Law earning a Doctor of Jurisprudence. He also passed the State Bar of Texas. In 1981, he served on the United States District Court, Northern District of Texas. He was a member of College of the State Bar of Texas, 1991. He was a member of the Arlington Bar Association from 1989 until his passing. He was a partner at Watson & Krueger in Grand Prairie from 1980-1982 and a partner at Watson Krueger Campbell in Grand Prairie from 1982 รข?? 1988. He had solo practice law offices in Arlington and Whitesboro from 1988 to his passing.
Survivors include his wife, Miki of Whitesboro; 3 sons, Jason Raye and wife, Christi of Florida, Dustin Raye and wife, Brandi of Austin and Mitchell Krueger of Whitesboro; a daughter, Kaylie Adams of Whitesboro; 4 grandchildren, Zoi and Parker Raye, Wyatt Raye and Marlie Adams; parents, Sid and Patsy Krueger; a sister, Teresa Julian and husband, Mark; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandy and Tommy Farrow and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Elmer and Mary Aamodt.
Pallbearers will be Mark Mancino, Brian Shadden, Mark Labhart, Bill Campbell, Guy Garner, and Craig Bishop.
