May 7, 1931 –  August 3, 2008  WHITESBORO – Funeral services for Bonnie Mae Tamplin, 77, are set for 10a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Whitesboro, TX. Visitations will be Friday, August 8, 2008 from 7-8 p.m. and Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
She died Sunday, August 03, 2008 in Madison, Alabama due to heart failure. She was an ovarian cancer survivor.

Born May 7, 1931, she was the daughter of Ben and Ruby Gracy (Davault). She married Charlie Tamplin on July 9, 1949 in Gainesville, TX. She was a 1949 graduate of Whitesboro High School and retired employee of Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber Company in Whitesboro, TX.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2003, her parents and her brother Clyde Ray Gracy.

Survivors are son Donald Ray Tamplin, DDS and daughter-in-law Debra Stewart, DDS of Houston; daughter Tonya Tamplin Zbell, MD and son-in-law Paul Zbell, MD of Madison, AL; and two grandsons, Phillip age 12 and Matthew age 9 of Madison, AL.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Whitesboro Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 340, Whitesboro, TX 76273.

The family will be in temporary residence at the home of Jack and Kay Clark of Whitesboro, TX.

Pallbearers are: Claude Tamplin, Brian Parrish, Randy Sanders, Ronnie Raney, Joe L. Young and Jack Clark.
