Bobby Wayne Clay, 78, passed away on November 25, 2019, in Gainesville, Cooke County,Texas.
Bobby was born on March 24, 1941, to Henry Hoover Clay and Mary Edith Mitchell Clay in Matador, Motley County, Texas. He married Kay Lane on September 8, 1962, in Amarillo, Texas. He was always very active in the Church of Christ faith.
Bobby was a hard worker in both farming and ranching. He loved life, loved his family and loved his Lord.
Bobby is survived by his wife Kay; four daughters, Jenny Clay Lavey and husband Mike of Frisco, Texas, Angela Clay Perkins and husband Bob of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Tammy Clay Fuhrmann and husband Glenn of Lindsay, Texas and Sherry Clay Carter and husband John of Gunter, Texas; two brothers, Ronald Clay and wife, Wadie of Flomot,Texas and Joe Ike Clay and wife Anna Beth of Quitaque, Texas; Thirteen Grandchildren, Nine Great-Grandchildren and One Great-Great-Grandchild
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bill Clay, League Clay and Mark Clay and sister, Margaret Lane.
