February 8, 1935 –  March 11, 2014  A Celebration of Life for Billy Ray Tutt, 79, will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the Church of Christ in Collinsville, Texas, with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Mr. Tutt died March 11, 2014, in Sherman, Texas. Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, Texas, is in charge of arrangements.He was born February 8, 1935 to Russell Olan Tutt and Mildred Ester Gore in Gainesville, Texas. He married Wilma Varley Tutt on February 12, 1954 in Whitesboro, Texas. Billy Ray retired on July 31, 1998 from Markman Insurance Agency in Addison, Texas, where he was a mail courier. He enjoyed reading John Grisham novels and had many talents; he was creative and enjoyed leather working. He owned City Plumbing & Appliance, in Carrollton for 10years. He loved farming and visiting with friends in the local coffee shop. But most and above all, Billy Ray Tutt, (also known as Pop by those who loved him dearly) loved his wife, his children and his grandchildren. He also gave great hugs!
He is survived by his wife, Wilma Tutt of Whitesboro; daughters, Vickie Lynn Crippen and husband, Terry of Little Elm; Debrah Kay Whitton and husband, Tim of Valley View; Robin Denise Lichtsinn and husband, Brian of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and son, Anthony Ray Tutt of Whitesboro, Texas; Grandchildren Jason Almand, Jessica Palmer, Amanda Barrows, Justin Almand, Jared Whitton, Kerri Kruger, Joshua Whitton, James Walters, Joseph Tutt, Erin Tutt, Erik Tutt, Jarrett Whisenant and Madeline Lichtsinn; Great-Grandchildren, Natalie Seftick, Jackson Almand, Riley Almand,Lucas Palmer, Allison Almand, Kaiis Kruger and Kaydun Kruger and Sister, Dorothy Renfro.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Mildred Tutt, Brother, Olan Wayne Tutt and Sister, Oleta Faye Reynolds.
