July 30, 1936 –  July 26, 2015  Billy Lee McAdoo, 78, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at his residence in Gainesville. He was born July 30, 1936 in Kingston, Oklahoma to Olen and Naomi (Lee) McAdoo. Billy married Juanita Mullins on January 5, 1985. He was drafted twice into the US Army. Mr. McAdoo had worked for the Gainesville State School as a dorm parent and had also been employed with Bell Helicopter and Oklahoma Steel and Wire. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and was an avid fisherman.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 29th at Meador Funeral Home Chapel, Gainesville with Pastor Duke Dowling officiating. Casey McAdoo, Clint McAdoo, Russell McAdoo, John Mike Vietta, Shane McAdoo, Jake Vietta, Bobby McAdoo and Travis Klutts will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thackerville, Oklahoma. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife Juanita McAdoo of Gainesville; children and their spouses, Debra Kay and John Vietta of Durant, OK and Steve and Lisa McAdoo of Kingston, OK; step-children, Preston and Ruth Ann Klutts of Lake Kiowa and Michelle and Shane Solis of Plano; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wendyl and Bobbie McAdoo of Tom Bean and Johnny and Doreen McAdoo of Greenville, OK; sisters, Margaret McAdoo of Kingston, OK and Linda Voyles of Kingston, OK; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
