February 2, 1932 –  June 3, 2008  MABANK – Funeral services for Billy J. Fox, 76, formerly of Gordonville, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2008 at Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro with Rev. James Crow officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery near Sandusky. Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Fox passed away Tuesday June 3, 2008 at Presbyterian Hospital in Kaufman.

He was born February 2, 1932 in Collinsville to Harvey Lee and Mary Amos (Thompson) Fox. Billy married Peggy Joyce Greer on February 21, 1953 in Dallas. He retired from Texas Instruments in 1993 after 23 years of service. He was a member of the Sandy Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church near Sandusky.

Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Sprinkle and husband Keith of Gordonville and Cindy Stuckey and husband Danny of Eustace, two brothers, Elwood Fox of Gordonville and David Fox of Conroe, a sister, Recie Jackson of Sherman, 9 grandchildren and 5 great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mary Fox, his wife, Peggy Fox, a brother Cecil Fox, and a sister, Myrtle Bell.

Pallbearers include Bryan Sprinkle, Lance Fox, Bleys Stuckey, Jimmy Greer and Shane Greer.
