Billy Charles Stroud, 88, of Whitesboro, Texas was called to his eternal home on Sunday, January 16, 2022.

Bill was born on October 25, 1933 in Sherman to Etux Union and Flossie (Dial) Stroud.  He married Patsy Emmons on March 19, 1960.  Bill worked as a superintendent for TD Mechanical.  He enjoyed woodworking.  He was a loving and caring family man.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patsy Stroud, 3 great children and their spouses, Billy Jr, (Chuck) and his wife, Jennifer, Stephen and his wife, Vickie and Dodi Dansby and husband, Keith, 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, his nephew and best friend, Jon Stroud, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Etux and Flossie Stroud and all his siblings.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.  At this time no services are scheduled.
