September 16, 1928 –  May 28, 2012  GORDONVILLE – Billie Wilcox, born September 16, 1928, died peacefully in her home May 28, 2012. She was 83 years old. She was born in Blackwell, Oklahoma. She lived, worked and raised her children in Ponca City, Oklahoma until she married Don Wilcox in July 1969. They were soon transferred to Gainesville, Texas in 1970 with Arco. In 1981 when Billie retired from Southland Paint Company in Gainesville, Texas, they moved to Lake Texoma. Don preceded her in death in November 2007. Billie is survived by sons: Steve Kinzie and his wife, Glenda, of Ponca City, OK; Daniel Kinzie and wife, Julie, of Hilton Head, SC; and daughter, Kathy Bezner and husband, Tommy, of Gordonville, TX; grandsons: Corey Kinzie, Marc Kinzie, and Chris Kinzie; granddaughters: Kasi Kenzie, D’Arcy Goodenough, and Hadley Kinzie; and great-grandchildren, Cade Kinzie and Morgan Kinzie. The family has planned a private memorial service. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home.
