Gainesville – Graveside services for Betty June Quintero, 79, will be held at 9:15 a.m, on Friday, April 20, 2018, at the DFW National Cemetery.
Mrs. Quintero passed away at the home of daughter, with her family by her side, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, in Collinsville, Texas.
She was born on February 17, 1939, in Houston, Texas, to Hugh Emery Smith and Carlas June(Snodgrass) Smith. She was married to Raul Quintero, until his death on March 13, 2001. She was a phlebotomist, a very talented seamstress, and a smart business woman who absolutely loved life. In addition to being a very strong, intelligent lady.
Mrs. Quintero is survived by her daughters, Christina Fulbright of Gainesville and Sarita Q. Longoria of Mansfield, Texas. Sons, Michael Quintero of Ft. Worth and Ruly Quintero of Saginaw, Texas. Brothers, Robert E. Smith of Jacksonville, Florida and Louis Smith of Thailand. Two granddaughters Jessica Q. Martin and Jennifer F. Zachary. Grandson, John C. Fulbright. Numerous great-grandchildren, Alexa Fulbright, Stella Zachary, Ashlyn N. Martin, Gretta Zachary, Tenley and Braxton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raul, parents and brother Donald Smith.
Betty June Quintero made a great impact on many lives and will be fondly remembered.
