May 22, 1952 –  August 15, 2013  SADLER – Betty Lou (Anderson) Hawkins, 61, was born on May 22, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to the late Bobby Dee and Bobbie Lou (Sanders) Anderson. She has four brothers: Johnny Lee Anderson and wife, Debbie, of Coppell, TX; Ricky Ben Anderson and wife, Mary, of Irving; Dee Dee Anderson and wife, Robyn of Coppell; and Jerry Lynn Anderson and wife, Connie, of Southlake. She married Raymond Timlin ?Tim? Hawkins, Sr. on September 11, 1970 in Coppell, Texas. She has two daughters: Linda Kay (Hawkins) Harwell and husband, Jake, of Bryson, TX; and Emily (Hawkins) Allen and husband, Elvin, of Sadler, TX. She dearly loved and cared for her father-in-law, Raymond Hawkins. Her pride and joy were her four grandchildren: Sierra and Jason Harwell of Bryson, TX; and Dustin and Maisie Allen of Sadler, TX. She had many nieces, nephews and an extended family that she adored, as well as life-long friends.
Betty loved kids and she loved animals. She enjoyed working through puzzle books or playing solitaire at her computer. She also enjoyed crochet. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Bobbie Anderson; and a son, Raymond Timlin Hawkins, Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 19, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Meador Funeral Home Chapel in Whitesboro, Texas with Gene Deckard and Larry Jones officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sandusky, Texas. Visitation services will be Sunday, August 18, from 5:00 p.m. ? 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Lynn Anderson II, Justin Henry Anderson, Colby Anderson, Dustin Allen, Darren Neal, and Jason Harwell. The honorary pallbearers will be Jeremy Jenkins and C. J. Mauldin.
