September 10, 1923 – March 25, 2009 DENISON รข?? Betty Jean Harshbarger, 85, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at the Brentwood Place in Denison. A visitation for friends and family will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. No formal services are planned.
Betty was born on Sept. 10, 1923 in McClelland, Texas to Orville and Ina (Johnson) Triplett.
Survivors include 4 daughters, Sally Cavanaugh of Fairland, Oklahoma, Connie Hancock of Pottsboro, Christy Benedict of Denison and Betty Denney of Richland, Missouri, 11 grandchildren, Patsy Murphy, Kerry Kimmons, David King, James King, Joshua Benedict, Diane Yost, Michael Rosencrans, Ben Rosencrans, Chad Rosencrans, Tataina Rosencrans and Deana Denney, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Donna Brown of Nashville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Luther Pete Greer and Ben Elton Harshbarger and a great-grandson, Dennis Runnels and a sister, Susie Asay.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 1500 Waters Ridge Dr., Ste. 100, Lewisville, TX 75057.
