Belva Jeannette Young, 52, of Gainesville, Texas was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 29, 2025.
Belva was born on September 22, 1972 in Fredonia, Kansas to Charles North and Eleanora Dene (Foster) North Phelps. She was a graduate of Whitesboro High School. She loved being at home with her family and her pets, especially her new fur baby dog, Sway.
She is survived by her father, Charles, North and wife, Elizabeth of Fredonia, KS; stepfather, Billy Jack Phelps of Gordonville; brother, Charles Allen North and wife, Delsey of Keller; sister, Michelle Rijbroek and husband, Sander of Callisburg; sister, Julie Redel and husband, Todd of Jefferson City, MO; brother, Chad North and wife, Maggie of Jefferson City, MO; brother, Curtis North and wife, Crystal of Bevier, MO; brother, Charles North and wife, Ruth of Clearwater, KS; brother, Carl North and wife, Brandie of Neodesha, KS; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Belva was preceded in death by her mother, Eleanora Dene Phelps, sister, Angie Phelps Deaton and her fur baby, Chloee, Skeeter, and Buba.
A memorial service honoring Belva will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Rick Carney. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home.

Deepest condolences to Belva’s family. I graduated high school in the same class as Belva and remember her to always be a nice person. I’m so sorry the world has lost a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to so many.

Your funny, sweet, loving, and stubborn personality will be forever missed. You were a great aunt!
