September 5, 1940 –  August 1, 2013  COLLINSVILLE ? Aubrey Lee Lewis, 72, a resident of Collinsville, Texas died on August 1, 2013 at his home. He was born on September 5, 1940 in Floydada, Texas to George (poppy) and Bernice (Nanny) Lewis. Aubrey and Beverly Richard were married on July 11, 1963 in Canyon, Texas. He graduated from Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas. He received his auctioneer license from Reisch American School of Auctioneering in Mason City, IA, was the owner and operator of several businesses, and was an inventor and held a US patent.Aubrey was loved by many and was well known for saying, ?I?m fantastic, the good Lord gave me another day.?
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Beverly Ann Lewis; and 4 children: Alan Lewis and wife Barbara of Krugerville, TX; Joel Lewis and wife, Christy, of Pilot Point, TX; Leigh Ann Hill and husband, Curtis, of Collinsville, TX; and Sarah Lewis Ritchey and husband, Steve, of Collinsville, TX; sisters: Venita Lewis Brown of Amarillo, TX and Sondra Lewis McClure of Collinsville, TX; grandchildren: Andrea Krahl and husband, Josh; Loren Rapono Antchoue and husband, Jean Noel; Hannah Lemoine and husband, Justin; Adam Lewis, Ty Hill, Lucy Lewis, Nataleigh Richey, Lucinda Lewis, Lydia Ritchey, Levi Hill and Jasmine Lewis; great-grandchildren: Jayzon Cox, Aydon Cox, Quintin Cox, Ethan Krahl and Mia Krahl; and numerous loved ones and friends.
The pallbearers will be Ty Hill, Adam Lewis, Tracy Hardie, Tony Hardie, John Martin and Donald Rogers.
